Check out the information below to plan your journey to The Gabba. For special events such as AFL finals or concerts, check the event page for tailored transport info.

Note: Access to Woolloongabba Station

For Major Events:

  • Access to Main Street is via footpaths from platform 1 and platform 2. 

All Other Times:

  • Access to Main Street is via the footpath from platform 1 only. 
  • The footpath betwen platform 2 and Main Street is closed for Cross River Rail construction. 
  • The pedestrian overpass with lift and stair access, is also available. 

Plan Your Trip

  • Free Travel: Check the Translink website to see if your pre-purchased event ticket allows you to travel for free within the Brisbane City Council area on:
    • Queensland Rail City Network trains (excluding Airtrain)
    • Brisbane City Council buses
    • Special event shuttle services (available 2 hours before the event)

Public Transport bus that says The Gabba

No Parking

There's no public parking at The Gabba. 

On event days, 15-minute parking limits apply in most areas. For more details on parking restrictions, visit the Brisbane City Council website.

Pick up and Drop Off

We recommend public transport, but if you need to be dropped off or picked up, use designated drop-off points on:

  • Princess Street
  • Potts Street
  • Hubert Street

Accessibility

Accessibility Drop Off: Near Gate 5 on Linton Street (near Duke St).

Limited Accessibility Parking: Available across from Gate 5 on Duke St (PWD permit required, first come, first served).

Coach Parking

Coach operators must apply for a parking permit due to limited capacity. Complete the Application Form.

Deadline: Applications close 3 business days before the event, and passes are distributed 48 hours prior.

The Gabba is located at Woolloongabba, just 1 km from Brisbane CBD and 11 km from Brisbane International Airport.
